Inventory Control Specialist
As an Inventory Control Specialist you will play a crucial role in the material handling process at
ENDOCORP. You will be responsible for maintaining the company’s inventory, filling orders
for production, creating inventory bins and labels, and performing continual audits of our
inventory, all while maintaining accurate records of all procurements. You will work closely
with the Parts Lab Team and Shipping Coordinator.
Direct Report: Inventory Control Specialist directly reports to Inventory Supervisor.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintains consistent stock of inventory, ordering new stock up to pre-authorized limit as inventory dwindles.
- Establishes and maintains backup source for high-demand items.
- Assesses inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery.
- Provides inventory reports to purchasing and Operations Manager.
- Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.
- Manages and maintains inventory system; facilitates upgrades to related database and/or software under the direction of the purchasing or inventory control manager.
- Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
- Assists with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory cycle counts.
- Operates forklift truck when necessary.
- Performs other related duties as requested, specifically assist daily in the material handling / sorting process
- Work with automated counting scale to take accurate inventory readings
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Quickly and efficiently without error, stocking and picking of inventory items
- Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers, purchasing department, and outside vendors.
- Advanced understanding of inventory control procedures.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 5 + years experience with computerized inventory systems required.
- Forklift operator certification preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
- Must be able to navigate warehouse
